We took part in a short-notice contest put on by Moby and Saatchi & Saatchi to produce a music video for one of three tracks from Moby's new album 'Destroyed.' We chose the song 'After' and with the theme, "hello, future.," we did our best to come up with something really unique.

Here's a quick peek behind the scenes. Take a look:

In a sterile and controlled future, suicide rates have risen and the powers-that-be are looking into the cause. An operator resurrects a female victim and sifts through her psyche, trying to understand the mechanics of her suicide.

We recently finished post-production on a riveting short, soon-to-be feature film, titled 'Sold,' a story set on the backdrop of human trafficking and sex trade happening in America. The short stars Fernanda Romero (The Eye, Drag Me To Hell), Hector Jimenez (Nacho Libre, Sin Nombre), Jesse Garcia (Quinceañera, Under the Same Moon), Maria Elena Laas (The Hot Chick), Maria Olsen (The Lightning Thief), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I hate about you, O, Independence Day) among others.

'Sold' is currently being submitted to festivals domestically and internationally. We're excited by the future and scope of this project. For serious inquiries about the feature version (currently in development), please feel free to contact us.

'Sold' is written, directed and produced by John Irwin.

Meanest Man Contest Partially Smart Music Video Directed by John Irwin

We're thrilled to announce the completion of a music video for Meanest Man Contest's song 'Partially Smart'! This project was exciting from start to finish - we got to work with a great group, awesome locations in Los Angeles and characters from Smalldreams.tv's TXT M3 B1TCH which we also produce.

This video was featured on many sites including, LA WeeklyTubefilterXLR8RBeatfactor and at least 50 others. We're really happy with the results, and the fact that this is one of the first tie-ins between a music video and web series is exciting! It stands alone, but it's also a great extension of the TXT M3 B1TCH show.

Conceptualized, directed and edited by John Irwin

We loved the process and are excited to work with more recording artists in the future!

Rock For Equality
Here's a group of internet spots supporting a great cause that we finished editing and doing color correction for. The spots will be used to promote Rock for Equality's national event demanding economic fairness in Social Security benefits for America's same-sex couples.

These spots are about as different as night and day -- one with a sci-fi bend, and the other two set around real people telling their story. We were glad to work on the project, and also glad to support the cause. For more info check out: www.rockforequality.org

John Irwin on Carrier with Red One

We just finished helping a shoot for the Navy on an aircraft carrier in the Atlantic Ocean. It was yet another experience shooting with the Red One camera and the footage looks fantastic! We'll post a clip in the weeks to come.
